Mary Gautz is very interested in protecting the environment for future generations to enjoy. She is working on creating a garden for photo shoots and to preserve the land as a natural habitat. Recently she was introduced to raising Monarch and last year successfully raised and released 56 Monarchs back into the wild. This year she hope to increase that number. Mary is best known for her nature photography, which is taken mainly in Michigan. She especially enjoys going north to the Upper Peninsula for photo shoots. Mary’s favorite spot is Crisp Point Lighthouse on Lake Superior.
Mary Gautz was born in Adrian, MI. She has lived in Adrian all her life and is becoming well known in her community. Mary has several exhibits around Lenawee County, including Pentameter winery in Tecumseh, Croswell with the LCVA (Lenawee Council for the Visual Arts) and Adrian City Library.

Mary is a 2015 graduate of Siena Heights University, BA in Art with a concentration in Photography.
